I always wonder why things are the way that they are. Have people been beaten down by bureaucratic bullshit? Are the powers that be beyond righteousness? I often find myself completely taken aback by what people tolerate and turn a blind eye to.

I don't see this entry as you manifesting or expressing weakness or shame in any way. To me this article is evidence that the moral backbone of our society is almost non-existant.
